Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise out there, but let’s be real for a second. Swimming hundreds of lap with no tunes? Definitely not a good look. The team at FINIS agreed, and have now introduced their Neptune Underwater MP3 Player.
This is much more than some of the waterproof MP3 players and cases we have featured in the past. Rather than utilize your standard earbuds or headphones, the Neptune system uses a bone conduction transmission to get the music into your ears, and was designed to work while being completely submerged in water. The system sends vibrations right through your cheek bones into your ears. The Neptune player features a rechargeable 8 hour Lithium-Ion battery, 4GB of storage, and is of course compatible with our favorite media library application, iTunes.
